It dates back to 900 A.D. and it used to supply water to the town of Sorrento. That's why it's at the bottom of the Valley so that the water and flow down and then with the Mill it used to create energy for the town. According to my readings, it was abandoned in 1866. I'm not sure if you can visit it because it is completely covered by weeds.
